ADHD & You
A 6-week group for women with ADHD symptoms who are recently diagnosed or underdiagnosed, where we learn strategies to manage emotions, create struture around the constant influx of “stuff” that causes us to feel overwhelmed and disorganized (paper, dishes, toys, clothes, text messages, emails, etc.), and learn to live more fulfilling and satisfying lives.
Knowledge ◾️ Community ◾️ Empowerment
Many adult women with ADHD:
Are misdiagnosed
Diagnosed late in life (I was just diagnosed at the age of 48!)
Struggle with organization, time management, and long-term planning
Have difficulty regulating emotions and experience frequent mood swings or heightened emotions
Experience impulsivity or forgetfulness
Have low self-esteem
Disturbed sleep patterns
Heightened stress and anxiety
When women are feeling overwhelmed by factors of ADHD, it’s an all-consuming struggle
Why choose ADHD & You?
ADHD & You is a supportive place for women with or without a formal ADHD diagnosis to gather more specific knowledge about the struggles of living with ADHD.
We learn about the adult ADHD brain and explore how it impacts executive function

We set goals that are achievable and hold each other accountable
We learn new strategies and skills that can help with specific issues (related to our emotions, time management, ADHD and the impact of hormones, etc.
ADHD & You provides an external structure and support to help change behavior, monitor progress and create a sense of accountability.
